Nebraska is aiming to beat Illinois on Saturday for the Cornhuskers first Big 10 victory of the season, but the win would hold a lot more significant in the history of Nebraska football. It would be the 900th win for the Cornhuskers football program.

Ahead of the potential milestone victory, Nebraska released a sweet hype video on Twitter.

With a victory Saturday, Nebraska would become the fifth FBS team with 900 wins, joining Michigan, Ohio State, Texas and Alabama in the exclusive group. According to Winsipedia, Oklahoma and Notre Dame are also one win away from 900. Michigan has the most wins of all time with 955.

Against Illinois, Nebraska holds a 12-3-1 edge in the series. The Cornhuskers won three straight in the matchup, but Illinois’ last win in the series did come in Champaign four years ago.
