On Monday, Nebraska included a depth chart in its game notes for the first time since the end of the 2019 season.
The Huskers did include a similar chart on Saturday as part of the pregame materials before taking on Fordham, and the combination of the printed versions and the fact that Nebraska played more than 85 players in its 52-7 win gives something of a closer look at where players stand.
Most notable was junior captain Cam Taylor-Britt’s situation.
The cameras at Saturday’s game clearly caught a rough exchange between Frost and Taylor-Britt, and it was emotional. Taylor-Britt was removed from the action in the third quarter after a mistake on punt return, and the costly mistake was his second in as many weeks.
On the updated depth chart, wide receiver Oliver Martin is now listed as “OR” alongside Taylor-Britt.
The Huskers welcome Buffalo to Lincoln on Saturday, Sept. 11 with a 2:30 PM kickoff. The Bulls are coming off a 69-7 blowout win over Wagner.
