Nebraska saw 2 more players enter the transfer portal on Wednesday, as the latest entries were by wide receiver Shawn Hardy II, and defensive back Braxton Clark.

Clark played in 6 games in 2022, and saw action on both defense and special teams. Clark out of high school had offers from Virginia Tech, Boston College, Ole Miss, Rutgers and Central Florida.

Hardy has not appeared in a game the last 2 seasons, as he redshirted last season. Hardy put out a statement on social media, and thanked the coaching staff before he noted that he has 3 seasons of eligibility remaining. He impressed during his redshirt season, winning offensive scout team player of the year honors in 2021.

Hardy out of high school chose Nebraska over the likes of Kentucky, LSU and Ohio State.

These moves followed several similar exits by the Cornhuskers, including QB Richard Torres, QB Logan Smothers, WR Victor Jones Jr., DL Stephon Wynn Jr. who have all entered the portal in recent days.
