One of Nebraska’s best offensive lineman has officially declared for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Earlier on Monday evening, Matt Farniok announced his decision via a statement on his Twitter:

Farniok finished off his senior season in 2020 for the Cornhuskers but still had one extra year of eligibility left. He was a team captain during last season and this past season and was also an honorable mention for the All-Big Ten team in 2020. Even better, in 2019 he was named the Nebraska Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Farniok also started every game this season with seven of them coming at right guard and one at center. He also started 32 consecutive games during his career at Nebraska.

He had quite the career as a Cornhusker and we’ll have to see where he’s picked when the draft takes place from April. 29- May 1.
