Nebraska stays hot on the recruiting trail, lands 2024 commitment from North Carolina ATH
Father’s Day weekend has ended, but Nebraska’s recruiting hot streak isn’t over. After landing 3 commitments on Sunday, the Huskers added a new pledge to the 2024 class on Monday.
Evan Taylor, a standout of Cuthbertson High School in North Carolina, has committed to play for Matt Rhule’s program. Taylor shared the big news on his Twitter account.

Taylor’s listed measurements are 6-3, 180 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Taylor is rated 3-stars, the No. 31 North Carolina recruit, No. 95 ATH and No. 888 prospect overall nationally in the Class of 2024.
The ATH designation is used for prospects drawing interests at multiple positions. Huskers secondary coach Evan Cooper led Nebraska’s recruitment of Taylor.
Taylor has picked up 10 scholarship offers in his recruitment. Before visiting Nebraska, he also checked out Rutgers and East Carolina.
With Taylor on board, Nebraska now has 13 commitments for 2024. Taylor’s highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
