The support never wavered.

From the summer months when the season outlook appeared bleak on Friday night’s season finale against Rutgers, Husker fans showed their support for Nebraska on the football field all year long. It wasn’t always the best performance seen on the field, but fans continued to stand behind their team.

A 3-5 record may not have been what fans were hoping for during this shortened season, but the Huskers ended things on a positive note. Nebraska posted a 28-21 road victory over Rutgers on Friday, scoring back-to-back touchdowns in the 2nd half to pull away from the Scarlet Knights.

Following the win, and the end of the 9-week schedule, Nebraska’s social media team released a video tribute to fans, thanking them for the support they showed all season long. It was one of the most difficult year across college football, but Husker fans continued to show their pride.
