The Nebraska women’s volleyball team lost a heartbreaker to Oregon on Thursday effectively ending their season. Oregon beat Nebraska 3-2 in what was a thrilling game.

This game seemed to go back and forth with each set. Nebraska won the first set 25-14. Oregon bounced back with a 26-24 win in set two. Set three went to the Huskers, but the Ducks forced a fifth set with a 32-30 win in set 4.

Oregon eventually closed the door on Nebraska’s season with a 15-11 win in the fifth and final set of the game.

Nebraska’s loss wasn’t for a lack of trying, however. This play from Lexi Rodriguez shows that.  Rodriguez made a great play to keep the point alive in the second set of the game.

The Husker defense kept their hopes alive by making great blocks at the net as well. Nebraska stuffed Oregon in the fourth set.

Now that Nebraska has lost the remaining B1G teams in the tournament are Ohio State and Wisconsin. The Buckeyes and Badgers play their games on Saturday with both games being shown on ESPNU/ESPN+.
