Nebraska 'volleyball school' sign on College GameDay draws reaction from Husker fans
Nebraska was the target of a “College GameDay” sign troll. Based on social media posts, reaction to the sign doesn’t appear to be what the Colorado fan had in mind.
GameDay was in Dallas for Texas and Oklahoma’s annual neutral-site meeting. A Buffaloes fan got a prime spot, and had his sign “Nebraska is a volleyball school” with the Colorado logo featured prominently throughout the broadcast.

Nebraska takes pride in supporting its volleyball program. The Huskers set a record for attendance at a women’s sporting event with 92,003 people packing Memorial Stadium to watch the Huskers earlier this season. Nebraska fans don’t feel trolled by the “volleyball school” sign on Saturday’s GameDay.
Here’s a sample of the reaction on social media:
For some additional context, the bottom of the sign has the Colorado logo, so it’s not intended to be a compliment.
And yet… It is? Thank you?
