Nebraska's Mohamed Barry: 'We will become a great team'
Nebraska continues to be a work in progress. Though the Huskers have looked like a much more coherent football team over the last two weeks, they haven’t been able to chalk up a tally in the win column just yet.
The most recent loss came Saturday, as Nebraska dropped a 41-24 contest to No. 16 Wisconsin. The Huskers racked up over 500 yards of offense for the third time this season but still came up short.
On Sunday afternoon, when the Huskers returned home from their trip to Madison, linebacker Mohamed Barry decided to post some motivational words on Twitter, as well as a message to the fans. It received quite a bit of attention over the last day.
“My lil bros (Cam Taylor),(Maurice Washington),(Adrian Martinez), (Caleb Tannor) will be great players!” Barry wrote on Twitter. “As a result…in the near future…we will become a great team. Keep the ‘Day by Day’ approach. In due time.”

Scott Frost has said multiple times that Nebraska isn’t in a great situation right now. He’s talked about some players not buying in completely and that there has been a lack of discipline in games.
But the Huskers have looked much better recently. Though it hasn’t resulted in victories, it does appear the team is improving. Even if it’s at a slow pace.
Barry understands that Nebraska’s success isn’t going to come overnight. He’s confident it’s coming in the near future.
