Just short of a month after firing Shawn Eichorst, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln announced that Bill Moos would be the school’s next athletic director.
The news came early Sunday afternoon and, later in the day, Nebraska hosted a press conference introducing Moos into the position. He was formerly the athletic director at Washington State.
Nebraska Chancellor Ronnie Green introduced Moos, talked about the hiring process and what he believes Moos can bring the university and to Huskers Athletics. Once he closed his comments, Green turned the microphone over to Moos.
Here’s what Moos had to say on Sunday afternoon at the press conference.
Moos: "when we visited, we connected." Said he wanted to work for Green and Bounds.
