Oklahoma missing several key players on defense for Nebraska game
The Sooners will be without some of their best players on defense going into Saturday’s contest against the Cornhuskers.
Defensive backs Billy Bowman and Woodi Washington were both seen in shorts during warmups and look to be inactive for the game.
According to Austin Curtright, Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley declared Washington as “doubtful” before the game. Bowman got hurt in the Week 2 matchup against Western Carolina.

Washington was listed as doubtful for the game by Lincoln Riley and Bowman left last week’s game against Western Carolina early with an injury.

It also looks like that the Sooners will be without freshman linebacker Danny Stutsman, as he’s on the sideline with a cast on his left arm.
Same for Danny Stutsman. He’s on the sideline with a cast and sling on his left arm. https://t.co/leCorWB8o3

Stutsman has 10 total tackles (8 solo) with 1 forced fumble through 2 games so this will be a big loss in the middle of the field.
As for Bowman, he has 5 tackles (4 solo) with a forced fumble so far and Washington has 5 total tackles as well (3 solo).
We’ll have to see if the Sooners can win without these players as kickoff is set for Noon ET on FOX.
