Pair of key Huskers out for Nebraska's finale vs. Iowa
As Nebraska aims to snap five-game losing streak in the regular season finale vs. No. 16 Iowa, they’ll be without a pair of key players.
Nebraska announced that senior safety Deontai Williams will suit up but freshman running back Rahmir Johnson and junior defensive lineman Damion Daniels won’t play.
Nebraska coach Scott Frost was previously optimistic about the availability of Daniels.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Williams has recorded 23 solo tackles and 4 interceptions. He is the team’s leader in interceptions.
Nebraska is 3-8 overall and sixth place in the B1G West. The Cornhuskers most recently dropping a 35-28 contest at then-No. 15 Wisconsin. Nebraska’s last victory came vs. Northwestern on Oct. 2.
