Purdue players have huge compliment for Nebraska fans
For Week 5 of the college football season, Purdue traveled to face a win-less Nebraska team and the Boilermakers kept the Huskers from winning their first game.
Purdue put up 42 points en route to a 42-28 victory. The Boilermakers are now 2-3 on the season after starting off 0-3. After the game, Purdue LB Markus Bailey and TE Brycen Hopkins gave some kind words to Nebraska’s fans:
#Purdue's Markus Bailey and Brycen Hopkins both mentioned how much they enjoyed playing in the Nebraska atmosphere and in front of the Cornhusker fans.
"We love the fans," Hopkins said. "We knew coming in they were going to be nice."

It’s not often when an opposing team’s players enjoys the other side’s fans. They didn’t even just enjoy the fans, Bailey and Hopkins “love” them. And they knew the Huskers faithful would be nice.
What more can you ask for if you’re a Nebraska fan?
Outside of a win, of course.
