Nebraska’s defensive front is about to get a big boost.

The Cornhuskers have been awaiting the arrival of JUCO defensive lineman Jahkeem Green over the summer. Green is a big defender who is transferring to Nebraska from Highland Community College after receiving offers from Alabama, Tennesee, and South Carolina among others.

It is also being reported that Green has arrived on campus and is officially a Cornhusker as of Monday. Evan Bland with the Omaha World-Herald reported that Green signed his paperwork Monday and is now listed in the university’s online student directory. Hopefully, that means Green will join practices in the next day or two.
