Not even one day after news broke that two Nebraska players were facing a 2 1/2-year ban from the university for violating the school’s sexual misconduct policies, both of them have entered the NCAA transfer portal — a source confirmed to 247Sports.

The two players are wide receiver Andre Hunt and tight end Katerian LeGrone. The incident allegedly took place in August and the pair of Huskers were suspended from all team activities on Aug. 26. The reason for the suspensions were not known until now.

Neither played in 2019.
