A former Nebraksa running back is in trouble with the law following an assault charge that landed him in Lancaster County jail over the weekend, according to a report.

The Omaha World-Herald is reporting that ex-Husker Jaylin Bradley was arrested and booked into jail early Sunday morning for second-degree domestic assault. Further details on the situation were not mentioned, although a preliminary court hearing was scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday.

Bradley came to the Nebraska program in 2017 but decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal in January 2020. He has not yet decided on a new school to continue his football and educational careers.

In 2017, Bradley carried the ball 24 times for 93 yards, caught four passes for 38 yards and returned six kickoffs for 124 yards. In 2018, Bradley redshirted before seeing limited action this past season. In 2019 he had just two touches for eight yards.

Nebraska finished last season with a 5-7 record.
