A Nebraska guard has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report.

Christopher Heady of the Omaha World-Herald reported that junior guard Jervay Green has entered his name in the portal. He was with the Huskers for just one season, transferring to Nebraska from Western Nebraska Community College.

This season Green saw the floor plenty for the Huskers, averaging 24.6 minutes per game while appearing in 28 contests and making 15 starts. For the year, he averaged 8.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest.

Green posted a season-high 22 points in November against Southern, a game the Huskers won 93-86 in overtime. Green also played well in Nebraska’s lone B1G Tournament game, scoring 15 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing four assists in an 89-64 loss to Indiana.

Nebraska finished the year with a 7-25 record, which included a 2-18 mark in B1G play. It was the first season under head coach Fred Hoiberg.
