He would be joining Scott Frost’s staff and have a similar position to what he had with LSU. He was the wide receivers coach and one of the program’s best recruiters.
Joseph played for the Cornhuskers from 1988-91 and totaled 909 passing yards with 14 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,108 yards along with 16 touchdowns.
He’s coached at numerous schools throughout his coaching career and it all started with Tulane in 1999. He was a graduate assistant there before being named the quarterback’s coach at Nicholls State for a couple of seasons (2001-03).
Central Michigan then came calling in 2004 and he was the running backs coach there until 2005. He’s been with LSU since 2017 but with Brian Kelly the new head man down there, it’s likely that he wants to bring his own staff in.
