Nebraska is 0-4 overall.

Scott Frost still hasn’t won a game as coach of the Huskers. During the team’s four-game losing streak, Frost has said that he wants guys that are buying in. If they aren’t, he has essentially said he wants them out.

Earlier this week, former 4-star WR recruit Tyjon Lindsey was released from the Huskers. On Friday, a report has another offensive skill player wanting out.

“Junior college transfer running back Greg Bell has left the team a source has confirmed to HuskerOnline,” wrote Sean Callahan of HuskerOnline.com. “Nebraska would not confirm the news yet on Friday as they get ready to leave for Madison.”

A source told the site that Bell didn’t take the news well when he found out that RB Devine Ozigbo — who ran for 170 yards and 2 TD last week against Purdue — had taken over the starting job.

Apparently, Bell isn’t willing to be No. 2 on the depth chart. He got 2 carries for 2 yards against the Boilermakers.

Bell, a 6-foot junior from California, was a former 3-star JUCO recruit for the Class of 2018. Since he has played in just 4 games this season, Bell is eligible for a redshirt thanks to the new offseason rule.
