There’s no question Nebraska has some of the best traditions in college football. The tunnel walk, which happens before every game, is one of those.

Nebraska still participated in the walk during the 2020 season, but it lost some of its luster without fans inside the stadium. But things were getting back to normal this weekend, as the Huskers hosted around 30,000 Big Red fans for Saturday’s spring game.

Having that tunnel walk moment with fans back at Memorial Stadium was special.

Awesome.

Nebraska has been excited to welcome fans back to the stadium this spring, welcoming attendance for two open practices this year. In addition to the spring game on Saturday, the Huskers also opened up the gates for fans to attend a practice at Memorial Stadium in April.

It’s not the packed house the Huskers are used to seeing, but it’s getting closer. And it’s great to see traditions like this in full force when fans are back in the venue.
