Nebraska fans don’t need any additional reason to fuel their excitement for the 2019 college football season. The second season of the Scott Frost era is one of the most anticipated years in recent memory.

Just for good measure though, Purdue star receiver Rondale Moore has actually thrown a little gasoline on the hype fire in Lincoln.

During B1G Media Days, Moore was asked about Nebraska freshman all-purpose back Wan’Dale Robinson — a player who was considering Purdue before committing to the Huskers. And the Boilermakers star had some pretty high praise for Robinson.

“I think we play alike,” Moore said, according to Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald.

Considering Moore led the B1G in receiving yards and touchdowns and the NCAA in receptions, that’s a pretty big compliment for the freshman. And it only adds to the excitement for Nebraska’s 2019 offense.

There’s already high expectations for the Huskers in 2019 with Adrian Martinez returning under center and Frost’s offense in its second season. Many believe Nebraska is a favorite to win the West division and finishing in the top 25. That would be a pretty big leap following a 4-8 campaign.

With all the weapons the Huskers have offensively, it’s not out of the realm of possibility. And if Robinson turns out to be half as good as Moore as a freshman, Nebraska is in even better shape.
