Nebraska did what it needed to do in Week 4.

The Huskers needed a win against Illinois to kick off their Big Ten schedule for 2019 and did just that, winning 42-38. It may not have been perfect. Heck, even the offense — which scored 42 points — had four turnovers.

However, a win is a win. Criticize the players, the coaching staff or the play-calling all you want, but the Huskers got it done.

Speaking of the play-calling, after the four-point victory, Frost talked about that with the reporters:

Frost didn’t exactly say that he was asked about play-calling a week ago. However, he did say that reporters wrote about it. He didn’t even get asked.

Well, this week he brought it up. Clearly, it irked him enough to talk about it.

But again, Nebraska moves on at 3-1. The lone loss came at Colorado in a 34-31 overtime loss. If the Huskers want to avoid a second loss this season, they will have to show up in a big way on Saturday.

Nebraska hosts Ohio State at 7:30 p.m. ET in Week 5.
