Scott Frost’s tenure at Nebraska was known for many things, including losing a lot of one-score games. On Friday night, Nebraska got a one-point victory against Rutgers which is something that has not happened in quite some time.

Nebraska fans immediately began dragging Frost on social media for how it would have played out if he were still head coach. Frost was fired after losing to Georgia Southern earlier in the season.

Fans were quick to bring up Frost’s record in one-score games. While at Nebraska, Frost went 5-22 in those games. Mickey Joseph might have just won over the fan base after getting his team back to .500.

Nebraska is now 3-3 and tied for first place in the B1G West after back-to-back conference wins for first time since 2017.

The Cornhuskers beat Rutgers 14-13 thanks to the 3 turnovers that the defense forced and the play of QB Casey Thompson.

Thompson threw 2 touchdown passes in the second half after having 2 picks in the first half. Wideout Trey Palmer scored the eventual go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
