Scott Frost gives pep rally speech as Nebraska fans flood Dublin ahead of Week 0

Scott Frost and the Huskers are in Dublin and preparing for the final stretch ahead of the Week 0 opener in Ireland. On Friday, Frost and some members of the Nebraska team were able to get a glimpse at the Husker contingent who made the trek to Ireland.

It was definitely a strong showing by the Husker faithful at the pep rally with Nebraska AD Trev Alberts even reacting to the crowd on social media.

Scott Frost also took a turn at the mic to address the fans and give a final message before Saturday’s game.

“I read an Irish saying 2 days ago that says you can never plow a field by going over it in your mind,” said Frost to a chorus of chuckles from the crowd. “Thought that spoke to Nebraska people a little bit, but we’ve been planning and thinking about this for a long time. Tomorrow we actually get to go play ball, and it’s time.”

The team certainly appears ready to face Northwestern. We’ll see what Saturday’s game has in store right around the corner.
