Scott Frost hoping Adrian Martinez experiences successful winning-time moment at Nebraska
Nebraska head coach Scott Frost is hoping his quarterback Adrian Martinez gets the experience of coming through in a big game.
Frost spoke about Martinez during his Monday presser and confirmed that the interceptions he threw against Purdue on Saturday were not like him and that he wants his QB to shine in the big moments.
“I really want him to have the experience where he comes through and wins us a big game,” Frost said.

It definitely was a game to forget for Martinez as he threw 2 touchdown passes and 4 interceptions, 1 of which was a pick-6. Before that game, Martinez had just 2 interceptions in his last 4 starts, along with 5 touchdown passes.
He’ll get his shot to prove Frost right when the Cornhuskers attempt to take down the juggernaut that is the Ohio State Buckeyes this Saturday. Kickoff will be at Noon ET.
