Scott Frost has been named the Associated Press Coach of the Year following a 12-0 season at UCF.

Frost led UCF to an undefeated regular season, an American Athletic Conference title and a berth in the Peach Bowl. All of those accomplishments come just two seasons after the Knights finished with an 0-12 record in 2015.

The announcement of Frost’s award was made on Monday.

Frost has already earned several awards for UCF’s unprecedented season. In addition to the AP Coach of the Year, Frost was named the Home Depot Coach of the Year, the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year and was the unanimous pick for AAC Coach of the Year.

It seems that Nebraska’s new head coach might need a bigger office for all the hardware he’s bringing to Lincoln.

No. 10 UCF will play No. 7 Auburn in the Peach Bowl on Monday, Jan. 1. The game is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
