Scott Frost: 'Not everything is newsworthy or a disaster'
Some would call the start to the Scott Frost era at Nebraska a disaster.
Make of that what you will — the Cornhuskers are 0-3 through four weeks of the season. That includes a loss to Troy.
Rebuilds do take time, though. However, stories will be made out of everything when a coach has a ton of hype around him and the team starts off 0-3 — no matter the sport.
Frost doesn’t have tunnel vision. He hears and sees things. He’s aware.
He knows what’s going on around him.
So on Thursday, Frost was talking about Maurice Washington with the media. Washington was apparently sick:
Scott Frost laughed about "second-half stuff" he'd been hearing about Maurice Washington. Yes, he's just sick. "He came to practice on Tuesday and threw up six times on the practice field," Frost said. "People need to calm down a little." #Huskers

Note: Frost said ” second-hand stuff”
He then talked about how not everything that gets tossed around as a rumor is basically the end of the world:
"I'm used to the mania of things around here and people inventing things. I've lived that before," Frost said of rumors. "Not everything is newsworthy or a disaster."

Again, some may think it’s the end of the world in Lincoln. But, it’s just three games. Not everything has to be a major, breaking story.
Frost and the Huskers are set to face Purdue at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at home. The game will be televised on BTN.
