A young Nebraska fan may have received a pretty cool present for her fifth birthday.
Recently a 4-year-old girl named Lily invited Scott Frost to her fifth birthday party, hoping the head coach could make an appearance. But with recruiting, winter and spring workouts and plenty of other obligations, Frost won’t be able to attend.
Even though he wasn’t able to make it to the party, Frost still took some time out of his day to send the girl a personal letter, a memento she’ll be able to keep for quite some time.
Dear Lily,
Thank you for your note. I’m sorry but I won’t be able to attend your birthday dinner. I hope that you have a great 5th birthday party.
Thank you for always watching our games and cheering for the Huskers. Go Big Red!

We know Lily wishes that Frost could’ve made an appearance at the party, but a personal letter for the Huskers head coach is still a pretty cool gift.
Hopefully someday she’ll be able to have a meet and greet with Frost.
