Scott Frost previews Nebraska's matchup vs. Buffalo
Nebraska will look to start a winning streak when they host Buffalo in Week 3. Nebraska bounced back from a loss at Illinois in the season opener to defeat Fordham 52-7 in Week 2.
Nebraska coach Scott Frost addressed the media on Sept. 9 in advance of the matchup against Buffalo. Here’s what Frost had to say, via Omaha.com:
This is the first meeting between Nebraska and Buffalo. In the shortened 2020 season, Buffalo captured the MAC East division and ended ranked No. 25 in the AP and Coaches polls. Buffalo handled Wagner 69-7 in its season opener.
The weather is expected to climb to 94 degrees at kickoff. Frost says Nebraska is taking extra measures to ensure the players are prepared for the conditions and he encourages the fans to do the same.
“We got the guys prepped (for the heat),” Frost said. “I hope fans take care of themselves, too.”
Nebraska-Buffalo is slated for Sept. 11 at 3:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on the BTN.
