Scott Frost provides updates coaching structure following recent firings
Nebraska can never stay out of the news cycle even on its bye week.
On Monday, it was announced by athletic director Trev Alberts that head coach Scott Frost would return for a 5th season but under a restructured contract.
A few hours later, it was announced that Frost had fired the following people on the offensive staff effective immediately OC/WRs coach Matt Lubick, RBs coach Ryan Held, QBs coach Mario Verduzco and OL coach Greg Austin.
The only offensive coaching member that is remaining on the staff is TEs coach Sean Beckton.
Head coach Scott Frost spoke with the media on Wednesday and announced who the offensive interim staff would be.

Interim OL coach: Frank Verducci
Interim QB coach: Steve Cooper
Interim WRs coach: Mike Cazano
Ron Brown is interim RB

These 4 coaches will coach the remaining 2 games Nebraska has on its schedule at No. 18 Wisconsin and No. 20 Iowa. Nebraska is idle this week.
Scott Frost and Nebraska have a lot of work to do this off-season in replacing an entire offensive staff.
