Scott Frost is officially making his return to the sidelines. The former Nebraska HC is going to be one of the head coaches in the U.S. Army Bowl.

The U.S. Army Bowl is a showcase for high school All-Americans from all over the country. Frost will be coaching the gold team and will be coaching against former Ole Miss HC Houston Nutt.

Frost was originally fired from Nebraska after losing to Georgia Southern earlier this season. Frost posted a 16-31 record during his time in Lincoln. Since then, Nebraska let interim HC Mickey Joseph finish out the regular season before hiring Matt Rhule.

Joseph finished the regular season with a 4-8 record, going 3-6 during his stint as interim HC.

Nebraska fans who are interested in seeing Frost coach on the sidelines once again can tune in on Dec. 17. The game will be broadcast on the Bally Sports Network. The 2022 U.S. Army Bowl will take place from 4-7 p.m. ET.
