Well, Nebraska did not win in Scott Frost’s debut, but there were some encouraging signs in the loss to Nebraska.

QB Adrian Martinez was one of the positive takeaways from Saturday’s loss. The freshman QB showed he is a legitimate dual-threat that can make life difficult for opposing defenses. He was knocked out of the game late in the fourth quarter with what appeared to be a knee injury.

On the other side of the ball, Nebraska’s defense left a lot to be desired. The run defense was impressive, but Colorado QB Steven Montez threw for over 300 yards and provided the game-winning score late in the fourth.
