Things went from bad to worse for the Cornhuskers Saturday.

Nebraska opened the season with a loss to Colorado in the closing minutes of the game last weekend. Making matters worse, QB sensation Adrian Martinez was lost to injury in the fourth quarter.

Martinez was unable to play against Troy, and his absence was noticeable time and time again. Andrew Bunch and the Nebraska offense struggled mightily against the Trojans while losing 24-19.

It is an especially dark day for the Huskers, but head coach Scott Frost will try to get the team to move forward from the loss. Here is what Frost had to say following the embarrassing defeat:
