Cornhuskers head coach Scott Frost is more than ready for his team to go up against Oklahoma this Saturday.
It’s a matchup that he loved to watch as a kid growing up and now that he’s going to coach in it, it has to have him feeling some kind of way.
Frost’s team has corralled 2 straight wins since dropping their opening game to Illinois, though the wins have come against some weak competition.
The Cornhuskers have beaten both Fordham and Buffalo, the latter victory being a 28-3 score at the end.
With those 2 wins behind them, here’s what Frost had to say going into this gigantic matchup against the Sooners.
Scott Frost says true freshman OL Teddy Prochazka is “in the conversation” to play in a significant rotation going forward.

Press conference here is over. Nebraska coach Scott Frost is happy with QB Adrian Martinez, still looking for consistency from the running game, not ruling out any of the hobbled WR/TE crew for Saturday and impressed with Oklahoma’s personnel. pic.twitter.com/vy5RuhxIiH

"I don't think anything could have been done differently, no," Frost said of how the #Huskers operated on that offensive PI call that took away a touchdown Saturday.

Scott Frost on OU's defense: "They're tough to figure out."
Spoke highly of OU Defensive Coordinator Alex Grinch, who Frost referred to as a good guy and coach. Says that Oklahoma's defensive schemes aim to "create chaos."

Frost asked if any of those WRs/TEs are ruled out this week: "No." Confirmed it was a head injury with Austin Allen on Saturday.
