Scott Frost tells Nebraska to play with attitude while wearing alternate uniforms honoring Blackshirt tradition
Nebraska confirmed Tuesday what the team’s Twitter account teased the previous day — the Cornhuskers will wear alternate uniforms, including black jerseys, against Indiana this Saturday.
Also on Tuesday, Nebraska coach Scott Frost told his players that with the alternate uniforms, they better come ready to play to honor the Blackshirt tradition.
Nebraska will indeed wear alternate uniforms — black and white — against Indiana.
Frost told the team if they're going to wear them, the team better show up and play with an attitude befitting the Blackshirt tradition.

The black uniforms pay homage to their starting defensive players, which are nicknamed the “blackshirts” at Nebraska.
The Cornhuskers unveiled a new alternate look in August with an all-black uniform combination, but according to Sipple, Nebraska will only be wearing the black jersey with white pants.
Nebraska will host Indiana in Lincoln at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday.
