UCF is currently ranked No. 14 in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings and will play No. 20 Memphis in the AAC Championship Game this weekend. In two years, Frost has taken a winless program and transformed it into one of the best Group of Five teams in the country.
Frost is a former Nebraska quarterback and is expected to be the top choice to take the job in Lincoln when his season ends in Orlando.
Last Friday, UCF defeated South Florida 49-42 to finish the year undefeated.
