Sister act: Andrews sisters combine for improbable catch for Nebraska softball
It’s true what they say: two is better than one. Just ask Nebraska softball and the Andrews sisters.
On Sunday afternoon, the two sisters made up the left side of the Huskers infield while facing off against Maryland. Brooke was playing third base while Billie was at shortstop.
In the fourth inning, one Maryland batter fired a hotshot toward Brooke at third base. She was able to get her glove on the ball but could not control it with the ball flying past her in the air.
It initially appeared that the ball would fall in for a hit, but Billie was quick on her feet. She reacted with quick reflexes and dove for the ball, completing the catch just inches off the dirt.

Billie would follow up that highlight-reel catch with a home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Huskers would go on to win in shutout fashion, 8-0.
