Social media reacts to Nebraska's latest kickoff debacle under Scott Frost
Special teams at Nebraska remain a hot-button issue. Unfortunately, that hasn’t changed in Week 1.
After the Huskers had a wild onside kick try under Scott Frost in Week 0, more issues have surfaced against North Dakota. Included was a wild decision on a potential punt return and a missed field goal from kicker Timmy Bleekrode.
Then, Nebraska had more kickoff issues in the second half. After a huge go-ahead touchdown by Anthony Grant, the Huskers had a kickoff attempt go awry.
This time, it appeared to be a squib attempt on the kickoff, but the end result looked like another odd onside kick try. The kick barely got beyond the first line of defense for North Dakota and was quickly recovered.
Needless to say, fans are continuing to have a field day with the Huskers:
Can we all agree that no team in the history of college football has been worse at special teams than Nebraska under Scott Frost?
They can't even squib a kick right.

Nebraska took the lead again and Scott Frost chose to kick straight at the first special teams line. We hate these reboots that just copy/paste the originals.

Um did Nebraska just try to onside kick it again?

Oregon forgoes tradition and skips the PAT and mostly goes for two.
Nebraska forgoes common sense and only onside kicks.

Lots of booing in Memorial Stadium following the #Huskers onside kick with Nebraska only up by 7 late in the third quarter.

Nebraska going for another onside kick up 7 against North Dakota is so damn funny

Did Nebraska just….. Fail an onside kick with the lead in the 3rd quarter?!?

Nebraska’s kicker just tried to low kick a line drive off an up man on a kickoff up 7. It went poorly.
Did Scott Frost learn nothing a week ago?!?!

Missed the beginning but this reaction from @kevinsjuts after that squib/onside kick should explain it all #nebraska pic.twitter.com/uz3t0CoZF4
