Now that Nebraska has hired Matt Rhule as the new head coach, the question now is who will Rhule add to his staff? One of those questions may be announced.

Terrance Knighton, who is a former defensive lineman in the NFL, looks like he is becoming a part of Rhule’s new staff although an official announcement hasn’t been made yet by the school.

Knighton was on the Carolina Panthers staff for two years as a coaching assistant and was recently working with their defensive linemen over the past two weeks ever since Paul Pasqualoni was fired on Nov. 11. Now apparently, he is going to be part of the Cornhuskers’ new staff.

Per Knighton’s Twitter page and bio, he is the DL coach at Nebraska. He accompanied that bio change with a Nebraska-themed avatar.

This is Rhule’s third college team he has served as head coach. Before that, he was the coach at Temple and Baylor and brought them back especially Baylor, to national prominence and now he will try to do the same for the Cornhuskers.

Looks like he’s getting off to a good start by hiring Knighton.
