Nebraska head coach Tim Miles is on the hot seat. After a disappointing year on the hardwood, it’s hard to believe that Bill Moos isn’t at least thinking about a potential change at the position.

On Tuesday night, while Nebraska traveled to Michigan State, a few Spartans fans felt it was necessary to point that out to Miles. According to Hondo Carpenter of Spartan Nation, there was in-game exchange between Miles and a fan.

“You’re going to get fired,” the fan yelled at Miles. And the Nebraska head coach couldn’t help but respond.

“You think so?” Miles chirped back. “Maybe they will hire you!”

Unfortunately, that exchange was about the only highlight for the Huskers on Tuesday night. Nebraska suffered a 91-76 loss to Michigan State, dropping to 5-14 in B1G play and 15-15 overall.

After creeping into the top 25 earlier in the season, a .500 record isn’t exactly where folks thought the Cornhuskers would be at this point in the season.

Whether Moos plans to make a change at head coach remains to be seen, but there’s no doubt that Miles is in hot water, at least among the fans.

Even in East Lansing, apparently.
