Tip drill! Cam Taylor-Britt shows excellent awareness on pick-six for Nebraska
When Nebraska’s defense needed to make a play, Cam Taylor-Britt came through.
Midway through the second quarter on Friday, Iowa owned a 17-3 lead on Nebraska with the ball and a chance to take a three-score lead in the contest. The Huskers needed a stop to stay within striking distance.
That’s when Taylor-Britt came up with a huge interception, showing incredible awareness on a tip drill.
Stanley fired a pass into coverage and JoJo Domann was able to get his hands on the football, batting it into the air. Taylor-Britt was able to haul in the tipped pass and raced 38 yards to the end zone for the first Huskers touchdown of the afternoon.
It was Taylor-Britt’s third interception of the season and first pick-six on the year. It couldn’t have come at a better time.

That touchdown brought the Huskers within a touchdown, making the score 17-10. It was just the play the Huskers needed.
Nebraska needs a win over Iowa to improve to 6-6 this season and become bowl eligible for the first time since 2016.
