Trev Alberts weighs in on reports and rumors surrounding Nebraska's coaching vacancy
Trev Alberts is heading into a crucial head coaching search for Nebraska. After firing Scott Frost following an abysmal start to the 2022 season, the coaching carousel and rumor mill surrounding the Huskers has already been fired up.
Some of those reports and rumors have included Urban Meyer, Kansas head coach Lance Leipold and Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell, just to name a few. During a Thursday press conference, Alberts addressed what he’s seen on social media.
While Alberts admitted “it’s all good,” he said he has yet to see anything that he would label as “accurate.”

At this point, there is not really any reason for Alberts to shed any insight into the process of finding a new head coach. For now, it looks like more “wait-and-see” for fans who are wondering about the vacant position with the Huskers.
