Trey Palmer was electric all season long for Nebraska. He wrapped up the 2022 season with one of his best performances, etching his name into the record books of the Huskers in the process.
Prior to Saturday’s kickoff, Palmer had an unusual tweet. He sent out on social media that he “woke up pissed off more than ever.”
For some reason I woke up pissed off more than ever!!

Whatever the reason for that, Palmer went off against the Hawkeyes. He recorded a pair of first-half touchdowns and finished with 9 catches for 165 yards. In the process, Palmer became Nebraska’s record holder for receiving yards in a single season.
After the game, Palmer said it was opponents like Wisconsin and Iowa that caused him to wake up “pissed off.” He also pointed out that fans can “see what happens when I wake up pissed off.”
