Trey Palmer etched his name into Nebraska’s history books against Iowa.

Palmer passes Stanley Morgan Jr. who had 1,004 receiving yards in the 2018 season. In a disappointing season for the Huskers, LSU transfer Palmer has been a bright spot. Palmer’s 2 scores against Iowa give him 9 on the year, just 3 shy of the Nebraska single-season record.
The Palmer TD extended the Nebraska lead to 17-0 in the 2nd. With a win, the Huskers would finish the season with a 4-8 record and end Iowa’s 7-game win streak in the Heroes Game series.
