Nothing about Nebraska’s performance on Saturday against Michigan was pretty. After 56-10 loss, head coach Scott Frost used the phrase “rock bottom” to describe the state of the program.

But even through the worst of times — which clearly the Huskers are in right now — Big Red Nation is still unbelievably supportive. But one ESPN personality believes that support should be cut immediately.

At least for now.

Following the game, Jason Fitz, an ESPN Snapchat host, absolutely blasted the Nebraska football program. He referred to it as “trash.”

“Your team might be good in a few years,” Fitz told Nebraska fans. “Your coach might be great in a few years. You guys might return to prominence. But today, right now, your team stinks. And I don’t just mean a little bit, your team is terrible.

“Save yourself the Saturdays. Go to the fair, go to the flea market and stop watching this trash.”

Fitz admitted that Nebraska might eventually return to prominence and be a dominant program again someday, but he continued to reiterate how bad the Huskers are at this point in time.

After the loss, Nebraska fell to 0-3 on the reason and 0-1 in the B1G.
