WATCH: Former Navy SEAL led Nebraska’s Tunnel Walk Saturday

Nebraska’s Tunnel Walk is one of the best traditions in the B1G. And this weekend, it was an even more special moment.

In honor of Veteran’s Day, former Navy SEAL and current redshirt freshman defensive lineman Damian Jackson led the Huskers onto the field on Saturday, prior to kickoff against Illinois. Leading the team, Jackson was also carrying a flag out of the tunnel.

The video will absolutely give you chills.

Jackson leading the team on the Tunnel Walk was just one of the ways Nebraska paid tribute to Veteran’s Day this weekend. The Huskers also sported special throwback uniforms for the game.

Jackson served four years as a Navy SEAL, joining immediately out of high school. W

The day was even more special, as Nebraska posted a 54-35 victory over Illinois inside Memorial Stadium.
