It’s 25 days away. In less than four weeks, college football will be back on our television screens and occupying our Saturdays. Even though it’s so close, it feels so far away.
You’re not the only dealing with the offseason blues. So is Herbie Husker.
Tuesday morning, Nebraska’s official Twitter account shared a humorous video detailing how the Huskers mascot is handling the final weeks until he’s back on the sideline in Lincoln. It doesn’t seem to be going too well.

See, you’re not the only one. We’re all struggling with the delay until the season starts. Even the mascots.
The first college football game will actually kick things off on Aug. 24, with Miami and Florida going head to head in Orlando. The B1G season starts on Aug. 29 with Minnesota hosting South Dakota State.
The B1G’s first full Saturday is two days later on Aug. 31.
