Things can’t get much worse for Nebraska fans.
As if the 3-3 start to the season wasn’t enough, the Huskers were obliterated by Ohio State in the first half of Saturday’s game. And a portion of Big Red Nation, quite frankly, was fed up.
Following a routine first down in the first half, several Husker fans released their red balloons into Lincoln’s night sky, a tradition usually reserved for Nebraska’s first touchdown of the game.

There really wasn’t much to cheer about, as Ohio State took a 35-0 lead into the half.
Fans probably feared that they’d be taking those balloons home if they didn’t find some reason to release them.
