Every week of the B1G season, Big Ten Network packs up its BTN Tailgate show and hits a different campus in the conference. And every week, the network selects a celebrity guest picker.

A few weeks ago BTN Tailgate was in Lincoln for a showdown between Nebraska and Purdue. The guest picker was Huskers basketball coach Tim Miles. And he did a pretty good job with his Saturday selections.

In fact, he showed up everyone else on the show.

OK, he didn’t exactly embarrass everyone else on the show, but he did go 4-1 (along with Spice Adams, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith) and he won the all-important tie-breaker. That week, it was the closest guess to the number of rushing yards Ohio State running backs J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber would accumulate vs. Penn State.

On Thursday, at B1G Media Days, BTN host Dave Revsine revisited the picks while meeting with Miles, and you could tell the Nebraska head coach was pretty proud of his success.

Maybe he should become the weekly guest picker for the show.
