The Cornhuskers are starting quick against the Wildcats!
Nebraska is desperate for a win after going 0-5 to begin the season. It has been a rough start for all involved, but the team continues to fight hard each week under head coach Scott Frost.
Frost remains confident that the team can turn things around, and the team responded with a fast start when taking on Northwestern. The Huskers took the opening kickoff and promptly marched down the field.
The touchdown drive was capped by a 42-yard strike from QB Adrian Martinez to JD Spielman. It is a connection that has proved big for Nebraska time and again this season, and Northwestern’s defense couldn’t catch up to the speedster.
